Intent:
At Amesbury Archer, we understand that Computing is central to all aspects of modern life. Therefore, our pupils engage with a range of technology, for a range of different purposes, in a range of different contexts. This broadens their experiences and develops their confidence, competence and independence; ensuring they are equipped with the skills and understanding required to be successful in school and beyond.
We encourage children to be:
Aspirational with their use of technologies and prepared to challenge themselves
Resilient when problem solving, particularly when testing and debugging their own programs
Curious about how technologies work and how they can be used to help us
Honest when they make errors, in order to learn from their mistakes
Enthusiastic about trying new things
Respectful when using technology to communicate.
